Hiawatha Academies’ mission of empowering students with the knowledge, character, and leadership skills to graduate from college and serve the common good has them growing rapidly. They turned to Yale Mechanical to manage the complete design/build process for their new two-story school – Hiawatha Collegiate High School. We managed the design and installation of the entire HVAC system, including constant-volume rooftop units (RTUs) that serve the classrooms, administrative offices, catering kitchen and gymnasium. Our plumbing work encompassed domestic and waste water piping for the catering kitchen and large restroom facilities, as well as acid waste and natural gas piping for teacher and student stations in the science rooms.
