Yale Mechanical replaced approximately 1,800 feet of carbon steel cooling water return piping with new 14-inch stainless steel piping. This work was performed during the plant shutdown project working 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The majority of this piping is located under the tin bath where the temperature exceeds 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Yale completed the work ahead of schedule and under budget.
