- Yale Mechanical is founded with a vision to provide HVAC systems with unsurpassed quality and service.

1940s: |
- Yale establishes company values and expertise that will stand the test of time.
- The War Years — installed oil heating system for barracks at Camp McCoy in Wisconsin.

1950s: |
- Installed one of the first large central air conditioning systems in the Leamington Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.
- Designed the first “Hot-Gas-By-Pass” system and “Ambient Lock-Out” control used in refrigeration systems.
- Moved to Clinton Avenue, South Minneapolis.

1960s: |
- Manufactured, patented, installed and serviced the “MYNAIR” spot coolers used around the world to condition space for mine workers.
- Formed a team of design/build contractors for turnkey design and installation of clean rooms for computer and aerospace industry.
- Created indoor/dry sump system to enable year-round operation of water cooled air conditioning equipment.

- Developed, manufactured and installed counter flow computer room air conditioning units for computer industry.
- Designed and installed Minnesota’s first central water source heat pump system.

1980s: |
- Yale Mechanical moves operations to larger facility in Bloomington, MN to meet demands of growing business.
- Yale lands its first national service account.

1990s: |
- Became the Twin Cities largest service provider for HVAC services.
- Completed Yale’s largest project to date - ADC World Headquarters.
- Completed our first large design/assist stand alone Tier 3 Data Center.

2000s: |
- Millwright division launched to enhance Yale’s range of capabilities within the industrial market.
- Established an in-house piping fabrication shop.
