Meet Yale Mechanical’s Executive Team

Lyle Schumann

President

Lyle joined Yale in early 2022 with more than 20 years of experience working in the mechanical services and energy solutions sectors.  He has been a people leader for more than 30 years and has held a variety of roles ranging from General Manager to Vice President and now as the President of Yale.  Earlier in his career, Lyle worked for three large Cities as Chief Operating Officer of their Public Housing Authorities.  His passion has always been around developing high performing teams and delivering superior customer experiences.

Lyle is passionate about continually looking for ways to innovate Yale’s delivery of its services.  Challenging the status quo and always looking forward to improving the overall experience for employees and customers.

Dori Seegar

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Dori joined Yale Mechanical more than 20 years ago, gaining experience in roles that range from accounting manager, software implementation and process improvement management, new division growth specialist, controller, to her present role as Chief Financial Officer. Currently, she oversees the financial and human resources functions with an emphasis on leveraging internal talent to achieve the company’s financial and growth goals, financial and operational controls, risk management, and process improvement. Dori is passionate about caring for Yale’s long history of tenured deep talent and best-in-class customer service.

Dori holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business from Inver Hills Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Metro State University, and a Human Resources Generalist certificate from the University of Minnesota College of Continuing and Professional Studies. She is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association. She enjoys time spent with family, volunteering, and outdoor activities such as UTV trail riding and hiking.


Marlin Klabo

VICE president, construction

Marlin joined Yale Mechanical in early 2008 and is a Professional Engineer who is registered in multiple states. He has more than 20 years of experience working in the mechanical services focusing on health care, process cooling, data centers, and other commercial applications.  He started his career in Rochester, MN as a consultant and switched to work at Yale in Bloomington, MN seven years into his career. Marlin has operated for Yale as head of engineering, project manager, and now running the construction department.  Knowledge and technical skill will be used under his guidance to expand the company to its full potential leading his team by example while keeping Yale’s reputation for a large service company intact.

Marlin Klabo: “I believe in high levels of customer service, technical knowledge, and listening to the customers needs. Solving problems and providing solutions are a priority. These have been priorities for Yale in the past and shall continue.”

Marlin holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from North Dakota State University. He is a father and an engineer, both of which are priorities in his life. He enjoys being outdoors with his family, playing sports, and hunting.

Jason Lake

Vice President, Service & Technology

 Jason joined Yale in the summer of 2023 to run our Service and Building Automation division. Jason brings 30-plus years of experience in the industry as an owner and contractor with a strong emphasis on owner experience and team development. His vast knowledge of building systems, energy management, operations management, team building, and process implementation ensures our customers have the experience expected from an owners’ point of view. 

As a member of the local mechanical community, Jason volunteers his time teaching and mentoring to individuals and groups on a variety of HVAC and leadership topics. He is also an actively involved with several local technical schools and unions. On nights and weekends, you will find Jason and his family enjoying the outdoors on dirt bikes, snowmobiles, mountain biking, fishing, or hunting.

Mark Bednarchuk

Vice President, Industrial

Mark joined Yale early in 2021 to run our Millwright and Dock and Door divisions. With 25 years in the industry, Mark has held various rolls as he advanced from a field Millwright to Estimator and Sr. Project manager/Sales Manager before joining the team. Mark is also active in apprentice training for the industry with the JATC committee and has held numerous training instructor certificates. Mark has always had careers in the service industry and knows how to listen to customers needs and work to find solutions. Mark believes the overall experience at Yale is what keeps our customers coming back.

Mark is a hands-on person; you will likely hear of him tinkering on projects such as cars, atvs, motorcycles, maybe building something or helping friends with construction projects. Besides many family activities, Mark is a devoted fan of the MN State Fair so if you are there, there is a good chance he is, too.
