History

Yale Mechanical was founded with a vision to provide HVAC systems with unsurpassed quality and service. Over the past 70 years we’ve remained committed to that vision and today are proud to be a leading mechanical contractor in the Twin Cities and beyond.

We started in 1939 from humble beginnings, but have enjoyed steady growth by focusing on our customers. Throughout our history we’ve had many firsts. Click here for a more detailed timeline of our accomplishments.

During the years we’ve also worked with a variety of buildings and environments. We’ve developed unique expertise from military bases, mines and data centers to grocery stories, office towers and manufacturing plants. We’ve also added a Millwright division and an in-house piping fabrication shop to better serve our customers.

As we look back on our history we are proud of all we have accomplished. As we look forward, we are excited for another 70 years of making buildings work better!
